- Open the front panel of your Printer and take out the DR-2225 drum from the printer.
2. Press the green tab in the DR-2225 drum to release the Brother TN2250 toner from the Drum.
3. Install the new Genuine or Compatible TN2250 toner cartridge. Once you hear that small click on the drum cartridge that indicates your TN-2250 toner cartridge is locked in place.
4. Finally, install the DR-2225 drum unit into the Brother HL-2240d laser printer and firmly close the front panel.
5. Always best to check your printer’s setting now to see if the printer had recognized the new Brother TN2250 toner cartridge. Then you can finally proceed with printing.
